Anatomy of a Disaster tells the story of one of the worst industrial accidents in the U.S. history on 23 March 2005, explosion at the BP refinery in Texas City, Texas, which killed 15 workers, injured 180 others, and caused billions of dollars in economic losses.

Amendments to the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 [Act 514]

The Occupational Safety and Health (Amendment) 2022 [Act A1648] has been gazetted on 16 March 2022 and was enforced on 1 Jun 2024. The Act A1648 has been promulgated to amend the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 [Act 514].

As communicated in DOSH's website, the full version of Act 514 will contained all amendments from Act A1648 and will still be known as Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 [Act 514].

When to submit the CIMAH's JKKP5 form?

The JKKP5 notification of industrial activity need to be submitted within one (1) month before the construction of the installation.

The updated JKKP5 form for the notification of industrial activity. The form was updated on 16 June 2022 and can be downloaded from the link below.

However, starting from 1 October 2023 the notification of industrial activity was done online through DOSH's MyKKP website.
